On the opening weekend, Liverpool were involved in a very chaotic 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, and the Reds look set to be very entertaining this season, if not equally as successful.
In better news for the visitors, Liverpool are unbeaten in 13 meetings with Newcastle, winning each of the last four.
The Magpiesβ most-recent victory in this fixture came in December 2015, prevailing 2-0, with Martin Ε krtel scoring an own goal, before Georginio Wijnaldum netted against his future employers.
Despite these recent head-to-head results, most would make Newcastle strong favourites to prevail at St Jamesβ Park.

The front three, Luis DΓaz, Mohammed Salah and Diogo Jota, all scored lat weekend, so Darwin NΓΊΓ±ez will remain in reserve.
