Two sides fresh off altogether contrasting most recent results are set to lock horns in a Championship clash at Vicarage Road this Saturday, September 30th.
The matchup in question will see Watford act as hosts, in a meeting with Middlesbrough.
Beginning with the former, Watford have endured a largely hit-and-miss time of things of late.
All told, across their last five Championship outings, the Hornets have managed a solitary win, to go alongside two draws, and two defeats.
One such loss was forthcoming last time out, when Valerien Ismael’s troops made the trip to Elland Road, for a showdown with Leeds United.

And hopeful of adding ever further to the struggles of their upcoming hosts on Saturday will be a Middlesbrough outfit currently occupying a spot in the drop zone.
The Yorkshire outfit, though, will in fact make the trip to Vicarage Road with spirits high in the camp.
This comes amid a timely steadying of the ship over the last couple of weeks.
After being condemned to defeat in five of their first six league outings, Middlesbrough have since gone unbeaten in each of their last three across all competitions.
Last Saturday, Michael Carrick’s men recovered from an early deficit to ultimately down Southampton by two goals to one.
And this was followed in midweek by a 2nd victory on the spin, on this occasion at the expense of Bradford City in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
