Hungary were always likely to claim a top two finish in Group G, so will their 100% start to qualifying continue in Podgorica?

Miodrag Radulović’s team cannot get into the play-offs via their UEFA Nations League ranking so, if Montenegro are going to appear in Germany this time next year, they must finish in the top two of this group.
Having been beaten at home by Serbia in March, they cannot allow the same to happen as the other group favourites visit this time.
Form suggests an away win will be on the cards at Stadion pod Goricom.

Stevan Jovetić’s first two international goals came against Hungary, way back in 2008 at a stadium that no longer exists, so will he add to his tally of 31 here?

Celtic winger Sead Hakšabanović started both of Montenegro’s qualifiers in March, so will be aiming to take this opportunity to impress his new club manager.

Target man centre-forward Ádám Szalai retired from international football last year with Martin Ádám taking up the mantle, scoring in both of Hungary’s matches in March.
First choice goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi remains sidelined, rupturing his ACL against Celtic last October, so Dénes Dibusz will continue to deputise.
Captain Dominik Szoboszlai remains the undisputed star of this team, hoping to add to his seven goals for his country.
