Lithuania vs Serbia match preview
After suffering a major set back in mid-week, it’s vitally important that Serbia get back to winning ways in Kaunas.

The home side are yet to claim a victory of their in 2023, drawing both home matches, whilst losing both on the road.
In mid-week, Lithuania were involved in crazy 2-2 draw with Montenegro, in which all four goals were scored in the final 20 minutes, including Fedor Černych’s 94th minute equaliser.
Nevertheless, including friendlies, Edgaras Jankauskas’ side are winless in 14 matches, with the Rinktine collecting three points from just one of their last 27 qualifiers.
Thus, an away win seems very likely at Darius and Girėnas Stadium.

Fedor Černych equalised off the bench against Montenegro could earn him a start here, possibly partnering Gytis Paulauskas, who got his first international goal in that one.
Serbia team news

Serbia operate out of a back three, largely designed to allow Aleksandar Mitrović and Dušan Vlahović to start in attack together.
