Roma vs Feyenoord match preview
After a frenetic, chaotic first leg in Rotterdam, it’s Feyenoord who boast the most slender of advantages as these two reconvene in the Eternal City.
A week ago, Roma were given a golden chance to take the lead, when referee José María Sánchez penalised Mats Wieffer for a dubious foul on Tammy Abraham.

Roger Ibañez did come extremely close to an equaliser, Oussama Idrissi heading off the line, as the Dutch side held on for a, potentially, priceless 1-0 victory.
This could turn out to be one of the best season’s of Feyenoord’s storied history.
On the continent, de club aan de Maas have previously won this trophy in 1974 and 2002, on the verge of their first Europa League semi-final since the latter of those triumphs.
Roma of course beat Feyenoord 1-0 in last season’s Europa Conference League Final, so are still hoping this tie will go the same way.

In Serie A, Sunday night’s 3-0 win over Udinese leaves I Giallorossi third, on course for a return to the Champions League.
Mourinho though is in Rome to win trophies, with this competition his last hope of delivering silverware this season.
So, can Roma produce a comeback at Stadio Olimpico, or will Feyenoord’s slender advantage prove insurmountable?

Key attackers Paulo Dybala and Tammy Abraham both hobbled off during the first half last Thursday.
However, the pair are hopeful of being fit here, with Dybala’s injury not as serious as first feared, while Abraham actually came off the bench to score against Udinese.
José Mourinho did shuffle his pack on Sunday, with Roger Ibañez, Nicola Zalewski, Leonardo Spinazzola and Nemanja Matić all set to return to the XI.
Georginio Wijnaldum, who’s only made 15 appearances this season, hobbled off at the weekend, making him a doubt.
Feyenoord team news
Consistency remains key for Arne Slot, who made just one change for Sunday’s 3-0 thrashing of Cambuur.
This saw Igor Paixão come in for Alireza Jahanbakhsh on the right-wing, with the Iranian set to return here.
Santiago Giménez broke the deadlock at the weekend, taking his tally to 19 goals since arriving from Cruz Azul last summer.
Of last Thursday’s XI, just four started the Europa Conference League Final against Roma 11 months ago, with the other seven having all left the club.
The remaining quartet are goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, defenders Lutsharel Geertruida and Gernot Trauner as well as captain Orkun Kökçü.
