One of two opening day fixtures in Europa League Group H is set to play out at The Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium on Thursday, September 21st.
The matchup in question will see Qarabag act as hosts, in a meeting with Molde.
Beginning with the former, Qarabag, for their part, have endured something of a hit-and-miss start to the new campaign.
All told, across six league outings to date, the Azerbaijani giants have notched just three wins, to go along with a draw, and two defeats.
This past weekend, they did at least manage a return to winning ways, though, thanking goals on the part of Juninho and Hamidou Keyta for an eventual 2-0 downing of Sabah.
On the continent, meanwhile, Gurban Gurbanov’s troops battled their way through no fewer than four qualifying rounds, to book their spot in the Europa League’s group stage.

Turning attentions towards this evening’s visitors to Baku, Molde, on the other hand, were given a spot in the Europa League’s opening round after coming up just short in qualifying for the Champions League.
The Norwegian giants were pitted against the might of Galatasaray in the final playoff round, and counted themselves extremely unlucky not to advance, after dominating much of the two-legged affair.
And yet, back on the domestic scene, Erling Moe’s men have not exactly set the world alight, on their way to a spot in 4th in the Eliteserien.
The last couple of weeks, though, have proven productive, with Molde having rattled off back-to-back wins either side of the international break, most recently by four goals to one at home to Odd.
